A Home Away from Home

Boarding is at the heart of Internationale Akademie St. Lichtenberg. The majority of our students are full boarders, creating a close-knit, multicultural community where friendships are formed across nationalities and cultures.

Our boarding houses are staffed by experienced houseparents and assistant houseparents who live on site. They oversee the daily welfare of students, manage evening study periods, and organise weekend activities.

We offer two boarding options:

  • Full boarding: Students reside at school from Sunday evening to Saturday morning, including during half-term breaks. Suitable for international students.
  • Weekly boarding: Students reside at school from Monday morning to Friday evening, returning home at weekends. Available for students whose families live within reasonable distance.
